Shahi Palace Restaurant

I live in B.C. but am from the West Island and I make sure to visit Shahi Palace every time I come to town. Their food is divine. I highly recommend their Shish Kebab, any of their Naan, their Chole. I have never had a bad meal there...

I love the food at Shahi Palace, I have to say that this place is the best Indian Restaurant I have been too in Montreal.

The food is excellent. They had changed owners a few years back but the original owners have been back for a year or so and the quality is back to outstanding.

I am not a big commaiseur of Indian food as it may be in India or elsewhere in the world. I can say that of the 30 or so restauranst I have eaten in in Montreal anbd Toronto this is the one that consistently impresses me with qulaity and value. I ahve eaten at another restaurant who touted they were an original partner of the Shahi and the food was not as good. The current owner in my humble opinion makes all the difference.
Unlike Indian restaurants the subleties of the spices are evidnet in the dishes. The bryanis are ligght and not oil soaked and the Balti Chicken is scrumptious and I ususally do not like chicken.

I love this restaurant, I was sad when it was closed due to a fire and was very very happy when they re opened and the original owners came back

AMAZING

Very good food at reasonable price + bring your own wine or beer. However avoid during cold days as restaurant is very cold

few years ago it was the excellent restaurant but now is not good nay more.
